Sparling Construction Company, Inc. was founded in 1980 by Robert L. Sparling. Patrick Wylie later joined the firm as Vice President/Co-owner.   The firm started from the ground up and has grown to one of the most respected/reputable construction companies in New Mexico.  We are a heavy highway and utility construction contractor headquartered in Albuquerque, NM.

Most of the company’s projects are currently located around the State of New Mexico, where single contract amounts vary from $15,000.00 to $12,000,000.00.  Residential infrastructure construction has been our main focus of business, however over the last 8 years our firm has become more involved with renewable energy, commercial, and tribal projects.

The reason our company has been so successful over the years is our ability to be a “turn key” contractor, which allows us to minimize the amount of subcontracting that may be required.  Management provides experienced superintendents with knowledgeable project managers/estimators and safety personnel to help facilitate the entire process.

All of the company’s equipment is maintained to meet the strictest of OSHA standards and requirements.  Included in the company’s approximately 100 pieces of equipment are truck, scrapers, motor-graders, excavators, water equipment, compaction, as well as asphalt paving equipment.
