Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Nampa, ID is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support students across all grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment dedicated to fostering student success and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across multiple grade levels.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students social, emotional, and academic needs.
  • Analyze data to monitor student progress and guide decision-making.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on mental health and positive behavior supports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid school psychologist certification or licensure.
  • Experience working with students in diverse grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines.
