Job Description

Our client, a leader in the FDA-regulated pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Senior Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Senior Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Process & Analytical Team supporting critical calibration and maintenance functions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Calibration Technician

Location: San Diego, California

Pay Range: $40–$48/hr (open to $49–$50/hr for the right candidate)

What's the Job?

• Oversee and supervise calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide guidance and effective solutions to clients and technical resources.
• Develop client quotes and proposals while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure compliance with client and company safety requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients to expand service offerings and enhance client satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• A four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military training.
• Four or more years of applicable experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, or Calibration.
• Strong background in process and analytical technologies, particularly in FDA-regulated environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
