Accordingly, we are seeking experienced, historically successful door-to-door canvassers who already understand how to engage discerning Texas homeowners in value-based, retail conversations around long-term home investment.

 

This role is not entry-level and not suitable for average or volume-only canvassers .

We hire professionals who:

  • Have multiple years of proven door-to-door experience
  • Have succeeded selling niche, premium, non-commodity products
  • Are comfortable discussing craftsmanship, longevity, and total lifecycle cost
  • Can represent a high-end brand with credibility and restraint
  • Operate independently, consistently, and ethically

If you rely on scripts, urgency tactics, or insurance narratives, this role will not be a fit.

What We Sell

Green Knight® specializes exclusively in retail metal roofing :

  • Architectural standing seam and specialty metal systems
  • Installed to industry best practices, not minimum code
  • Educated homeowners, longer sales cycles, higher expectations
  • No insurance manipulation, no shortcuts, no excuses

Your role is to identify and qualify serious homeowners , not to “pitch.”

Responsibilities

  • Professionally canvass targeted Texas neighborhoods
  • Initiate concise, intelligent conversations with homeowners
  • Identify qualified prospects for premium metal roofing solutions
  • Set high-quality appointments that convert
  • Accurately document activity and results
  • Represent Green Knight® with professionalism, discretion, and integrity

This Role Is NOT For

  • First-time or unproven canvassers
  • Storm-restoration or insurance-driven backgrounds
  • Asphalt-only roofing experience
  • Appointment setters who prioritize volume over quality
  • Individuals who require micromanagement or constant motivation

  • Verifiable door-to-door success
  • Experience with premium or niche home products (metal roofing, solar, luxury remodeling, specialty construction, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation and smartphone
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and in Texas heat
