More information on Job role and responsibilities: We are looking for a highly skilled Sound Engineer with a strong musical background to join our team. This role involves editing and mixing files, creating tempo maps, and ensuring high-quality audio production. Your main responsibilities will include: Edit and mix audio files to ensure professional-quality sound Create and refine tempo maps for accurate synchronization Work with high-end audio libraries to enhance musical recordings Create consistent audio levels across project libraries Apply appropriate equalization, compression, and spatial effects to enhance sound quality Prepare final mixes for platform and delivery formats Utilize Melodyne for pitch and timing corrections (preferred) Use Sibelius for score-related tasks (preferred) Maintain organized session files and backup systems Collaborate with composers, musicians, and production teams to meet artistic and technical requirements What we require from you: Proven experience in musical sound-mixing and editing with a strong ear for detail Classically-trained musician with excellent score-reading abilities Proficiency in audio editing software and digital audio workstations (DAWs) Experience with Melodyne (recommended) Experience with Sibelius (recommended) Strong organizational and communication skills Fluency in English (required); additional language knowledge is desirable Excellent communication skills to coordinate all stakeholders involved in the project How to apply: To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter, including your audio mixing portfolio, to Tomplay’s HR.
