Telehealth Outpatient Psychiatrist – Full-time – (CO, LA)

MindCare is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Board-Certified Psychiatrist for our clients located in CO and LA.

Compensation: $150/encounter (W2) - $185/encounter (1099)

Position Summary:

• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if provider already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Standard Daytime hours, either 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts available
• Position is for Full-time telepsychiatry outpatient for a corrections facility
• Evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions. Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable State law and following appropriate standards of care
• Achieve the following average encounter times with patients (excluding necessary time to complete documentation):
  • Initial Psychiatric Evaluations : 60 minutes
  • follow-up psychiatric treatment: 30 minutes

Qualifications:

• Preference to licenses CO and LA
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
