Reporting to the Director of High School Partnerships & Pathways in the Division of Academic Support and College Pathway Programs, the Part-time Dual Enrollment and Early College Evening Front Desk Assistant at Malden High School will be responsible for monitoring BHCC's Malden High School Satellite site during evening class sessions. The Evening Front Desk Assistant will also provide limited advising services to dual enrollment and early college students enrolled in BHCC courses at Malden High School during evening hours.

• Monitor BHCC's entrance and classrooms and ensure that only BHCC faculty and students are in the college's assigned area(s)
• Refer students and instructors to appropriate BHCC support services including HelpDesk, the Dish, TASC, etc., on an as needed basis
• Refer student and instructor concerns to the Dual Enrollment and Early College & Malden Satellite Coordinator, the Director of High School Partnerships & Pathways, or Malden High School evening staff on duty
• Conduct in-person and remote course advising activities for dual enrollment and early college students currently enrolled in courses at the Malden Satellite
• Monitor the dual enrollment email account during evening hours and respond promptly to external inquiries from students, parents, and high school partners

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Experience supervising an instructional facility
• Experience advising high school and/or college students
• Experience with Colleague, TargetX, SelfService, Zogotec, or other college-wide systems is a plus
• Bilingual?English and (Spanish | Chinese--Cantonese, Mandarin, Toishanese | Haitian Creole | Cape Verdean Creole | Vietnamese | Portuguese | French | Arabic | Somali)

Additional Information:

Salary: $32.00/hr @ 13/hrs wk.
